Program overview

The IT Career Preparation Program is a training initiative that aims to help young adults aged 17 to 25 acquire the essential skills and knowledge needed for successful careers in the IT industry. This comprehensive program, conducted over a period of six months from July 31st to Dec 22nd, focuses on providing participants with fundamental IT skills required for various job roles, including service desk analysis, technical support, networking, and desktop support administration. Classes are scheduled three days a week during the evenings, offering flexibility for individuals to pursue other commitments while preparing for their future in the IT field. By leveraging the resources and collaborative learning environment of the COVE facility, this program offers a valuable opportunity for young adults to embark on a rewarding journey in the ever-growing IT industry.
